The 2018 State of the Science (SOS) Congress on Nursing Research will increase participants’ knowledge of precision health and implications for nursing science. Precision health has been at the forefront of national and international emphasis because of its impact on health promotion and illness prevention. The Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science is pleased to present the 2018 State of the Science Congress on Nursing Research on precision health, a biennial research dissemination conference where nurse researchers from around the world join with recognized scientific experts, funding agencies, and policy makers, to explore emerging scientific discoveries, and to engage in this dialogue which is critical to our profession and to our society.
Along with the individual podium, symposia, synthesis, and poster sessions, this year’s Congress includes invited keynote speakers and plenary and panel sessions. Special sessions include the Editors’ Panel and the Funding Panel. Opportunities will be available to meet with NINR program officers. Highlights of this Congress are the recognition of the Council’s Brilliant Future New Investigator and the Outstanding Nurse Scientist recipients, as well as presentation of abstracts of distinction.
